The Honda Classic












The Honda Classic brings the world's best PGA TOUR players to Palm Beach County and PGA National Resort & Spa, and consists of a week of entertainment for the entire community.

The 2012 economic impact was over $43 million and over $200 million since the 2007 tournament. The tournament consists of 144 golfers competing over 72 holes and drew over 168,000 spectators in the 2013 event. Additionally, it receives over 27 hours of domestic television broadcast on NBC Sports and The Golf Channel, and internationally the tournament is viewed in over 250 countries which is all direct promotion for Palm beach County.

Over 1,500 volunteers donate enormous time to the Honda with the net proceeds benefitting South Florida children's related charities. In 2012, the event raised $1.85 million for charity including over $400,000 for the Nicklaus Children's Health Care Foundation.
